It is not without a pang of sadness that the director of the Institut International de la Marionnette, Philippe Sidre, closed the Villa d'Aubilly yesterday. This closure has been made necessary in order to bring the building up to standards and ensure the safety of the people accommodated there.

As a reminder, the Villa d'Aubilly, a residence for researchers and creators, opened in 1996. The building was constructed in the XVIIth century and is a part of the remarkable architectural heritage of the city of Charleville-Mézières.

We will do everything in our power to get the Villa reopened as soon as possible and will keep you informed of the progress.
