After several experiences in theater and contemporary dance, Dinaïg Stall discovers puppetry arts and learns handpuppets with Alain Recoing. She then joins the 5th class of the Ecole Supérieure Nationale des Arts de la Marionnette in Charleville-Mézières where she works with numerous artists, such as Claire Heggen, Fabrizio Montecchi, Roland Shön, Arne Högsander, and many others...
At the end of the studies, she creates the company Le Bruit du Frigo with Cédric Laurier. Within the company, she interprets, directs or builds - alternately or simultaneously - original shows, like Juste un petit coup de main, Ici ou là ou Visages de l'aube (adapted from Nancy Huston's novel).
Her work explores the relation between the various artistic disciplines and also between what's alive and what's given life to on stage.
Besides her own company, she continues to collaborate with other artists, among whom the Chilean director Jaime Lorca or the company "La Boîte à Sel" in Bordeaux.
She has a regular experience in directing workshops toward audiences of all ages and enjoy passing on her skills and creative process regarding puppetry. She also keeps learning new techniques for example objects' theater with the Belgian artist Agnès Limbos.
