After graduating in Fine Arts while working in the Puppet Theatre in Timisoara, I was awarded a scholarship by the French Government and left Romania to study in France at the Ecole Superieure Nationale des Arts de la Marionnette, one of the world's premiere puppetry programmes, a fertile place, dedicated to contemporary experiment and play. I then lived for another year in inspirational Barcelona before being seized by nostalgia and returned to work in my instinctive, chaotic yet so poetic... Romania.

At the invitation of Ministry of Culture, I collaborated for one year with the Theatre and Dance company, Rio Teatro Caribe, living, performing and teaching in Venezuela in a remote, alluring place, where sea, sand, sun, salsa and art were mixed in an swirling creative idealistic adventure.

In 1999 I was invited to London as Visiting Director at Central School of Speech and Drama, I decided then to stay for a short time in Brighton, where I have been based now for several years.

I have since continued to create my own shows and toured them in the U.K as well as Europe, at several festivals and theatres including at the Barbican in London as part of the B. I. T. E Dance, Music, Theatre Festival.

While remaining faithful to Theatre and Puppetry as a Performer, Director or Designer my creative journey has also alternated from painting, illustration to writing, installations... multimedia...
